Project: Mail & Live Product Interface

Description: eGain's email-based customer support system received kudos from users on functionality, but not on how it felt in its usage. Process 39 collaborated with eGain to produce a piece of software with more consistency and an accessible attitude.

Project: Business Tools Product Interface

Description: Extensity sought our help in converting their business automation tool set to a browser-based environment. We helped them structure an interface consistent with their old user experience, while innovating more web-like presentation and control.

Project: iPhone Interface

Description: Is it a telephone or Internet station? That's one of the questions we helped InfoGear answer on the way to a final consumer-level interface. The latest consumer embedded systems can be sophisticated, with an interface that isn't.

Project: Music Messenger Product Interface

Description: Designed amidst the hub-bub over MP3 and music rights, Music Messenger was envisioned as a way to share music among individuals with more industry involvement and supervision.

Project: Sales & ServicePort Product Interface

Description: First designed as a browser-based "Thin Client" Java Application, SalesPort gave us opportunities to produce software beyond standard browser capabilities. ServicePort, in dynamic HTML, capitalized on our original interface structures.

Project: Commotion Application Interface

Description: We created many of the complex custom interface controls for Puffin Design's award-winning motion editing tool, Commotion. To everyone's credit, Commotion's launch was an industry success story—Best New Product at Macworld '97.

Client: Move.com

Project: interface Changes & User Experience Improvements

Description: Working with Move.com's internal User Experience Group, Process 39 worked to improve the overall user satisfaction and use of this multifaceted site. Even though this series of projects didn't take much advantage of our quality visual design, our suggested structural changes significantly improved customer retention, met more specific customer needs, and improved Move's overall site ratings (based on Gomez review and measurements).

GUI

Our interface expertise is grounded in the belief that technology—no matter how rich in features—must also be accessible, clear, and engaging. We approach every GUI project as product design, involving much more than the surface layer the user interacts with.

Process 39 helps clients successfully navigate competing priorities, disparate goals, and multiple messages involved in developing anything from web-hosted applications to feature-packed consumer websites.
